Privacy-First Commitment: Cube Solver XR processes all computer vision, voice recognition, and 3D spatial hand tracking 100% locally on your device in real-time. We do not store, record, or transmit your camera video, audio recordings, or personal photos to any server.
1. Information Processing & Device Permissions
Cube Solver XR requests specific hardware permissions to provide its spatial Rubik's cube solving, training, and timing features. Below is how each permission is handled:
A. Camera Access (android.permission.CAMERA)
- Purpose: Used solely to scan and identify the colored facelets of a physical Rubik's Cube.
- Processing: Camera frames are analyzed in temporary memory (RAM) in real time using local computer vision to classify colors.
- Storage & Sharing: Zero camera data is saved or recorded. No images, video streams, or photos are ever saved to disk, transmitted over the internet, or shared with third parties. Frames are immediately cleared from memory once colors are read.
B. Microphone Access (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO)
- Purpose: Used solely for optional hands-free voice commands (such as "scramble", "next step", "stop", or "reset") while solving physical or virtual cubes.
- Processing: Audio is processed locally on the device using standard Android speech recognition.
- Storage & Sharing: Zero audio data is recorded or stored. Audio buffers are transient and are never saved to disk or transmitted to external servers.
C. Hand Tracking & Spatial Sensors (android.permission.HAND_TRACKING)
- Purpose: Used on Android XR headsets to detect physical hand contact with the virtual speedmat timer (start/stop timing via dual-hand touch).
- Processing: Hand joint coordinates remain entirely within the local XR runtime session.
- Storage & Sharing: Spatial coordinates are never saved, logged, or sent off your device.
2. Optional Community Feedback & Creator Referral Attribution (android.permission.INTERNET)
The Application uses HTTPS network requests solely for two optional / non-tracking purposes:
- Optional In-App Feedback & Feature Requests: If you voluntarily submit a feature request or bug report using the in-app Feedback form, the message text, device model/OS version, and (if you choose to provide one) your optional contact email address are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS) so we can review your feedback and follow up. Providing an email address is completely optional.
- Creator Referral Attribution: On first launch, the app reads the standard Google Play Install Referrer campaign tag (e.g.,
creator=alex) and sends a one-time anonymous attribution ping (referral tag, timestamp, and device model) over HTTPS to credit referring creators.
- Data Deletion Requests: You may request deletion of any voluntarily submitted feedback or contact email at any time by emailing sveventuresllc@gmail.com.
3. Data Storage & Retention
- Local Preferences: Personal solve history (times, Ao5, Ao12 averages, saved cube color customizations) are stored strictly locally on your device in private app storage.
- Cross-Device Sync: Solve data can be transferred offline between your headset and phone via optical QR codes. No cloud servers are involved.
- Data Deletion: You can wipe all local history anytime within the app's settings, or by uninstalling the application from your device.
4. Children’s Privacy
Cube Solver XR is an educational and puzzle-solving utility. We comply with applicable privacy laws and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
5. Security
All camera analysis, voice recognition, and solver computation run locally on your device hardware, and all optional feedback requests are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
